Saúde Criança is one of the 100 best NGOs in Brazil

The organization has been elected as such, according to the first edition of the  Melhores ONGs (Best NGOs), an initiative of the Instituto Doar and Epoca Magazine.

The ASC is among the 100 best Brazilian  NGOs, according to a selection made  by Epoca Magazine in partnership with the  Instituto Doar. The award ceremony took  place  last  August 7th, at the Espaço Sapato Laranja, in São Paulo (SP) and Mariana Velloso, the Fund Raising Manager, represented the ASC.

More than 1.500 nomimations were received from all over Brazil, but only 100 of them sere selected. There are presently more than 300 thousand NGOs in the country, and being among the first 100 is a proof of competency. The following  aspects  were considered: Management – administrative, accounting and financial processes,  besides Transparency of Resources , and Communication. The award aims not only  at the recognition of  the Third Sector good practices,  but also at  encouraging the culture of giving in Brazil.
