Procter & Gamble donation
Procter & Gamble donated this month almost 20.000 products to the 12 franchises of Saúde Criança all over Brazil. Deodorants, toothpastes and toothbrushes were donated, according to the number of families assisted and in the quantity needed to monthly releases until the end of the year.
Vera Oliveira, founder of Saúde Criança São Paulo, met the marketing manager of Oral B, who was enrapted by the work developed by the institution and decided that the company would help ASC. He asked which hygiene products were usually donated to the families and then contacted several P & G brands to evaluate which could participate in the initiative. Oral B donated toothpastes and toothbrushes and Gillete donated deodorants.
Vera contacted Teresa Pazo, coordinator of franchises of Saúde Criança, who informed the number of families assisted in each ASC franchise. An estimative of the quantity of products needed for each one until the end of the year was made and finally the number was sent to Procter & Gamble who made the donation.
